First ever project I've made in Unity! Just a short minigolf game, with three holes to try to beat! Made for the second year of my college course.

Controls:

Arrow Keys to change the angle of the ball and the power you want to hit it with.

Press Enter to hit the ball.

Press Escape to restart the hole.

The basic scripts were provided to me, though I made a few alterations to them with what little C# knowledge I currently have. The script for the outline around the ball is from the Unity asset store, so there may be a few issues relating to it I probably won't be able to fix due to not really understanding how it works.

There is no fullscreen button for this game, as I don't yet know how to make the UI scale with the screen size.

Known issues:

  • For some reason, sometimes when the ball is moving and is behind a wall, you can still see an outline around the arrow. Tried to fix this one, but couldn't figure out how.
  • At different resolutions, the UI looks weird. I have tried to lock the game to a certain resolution, but it doesn't look like that's worked? On my computer at home it displays differently to how it should, I guess because of the screen resolution
  • The UI in the downloadable version is broken, and looks weird. Also the downloadable version doesn't have a button to quit. I only really made it in case the web version doesn't work for anyone—the game was only designed to be played on web, really.

Fun.

Bug: when you are behind a wall you see the arrow when you are rolling
